[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide immunization information systems
- supply for software and professional services to implement and support an Immunization Information System (IIS),
- The new system will replace an existing IIS (AVANZA) and provide additional capabilities to the South Dakota Immunization Information System that are not
currently experienced. The new system will be a commercial off the shelf (COTS) solution that is internet based allowing authorized users real time access to input, analyze,
and report immunization data. The new system will be configurable at SDIIS level; allowing authorized stakeholders to easily update fields and tables for required changes,
updates, and reporting associated with registry functionality,
- The proposed solution must be a fully vendor-hosted system,
- As to software acquisition/licensing costs, the Department is only interested in a product that provides a single universal license that allows as many users as possible to connect via the Web,
- the possible expectations of this system include the ability to:
- Meet current performance standards and be user-friendly, configurable, stable and secure
- Accept all data existing in SDIIS with no data loss
- Enter/view immunization data via web
- Import batch file data
- Interface with SDIIS’s HL7
- Automate client and service de-duplication
- Manage vaccine inventory and automatically decrement doses when administered
- Manage the new system with existing staff
- Generate ad-hoc reports and extracts
- Run provider-based and geographic-based recall,
- Enhance School Nurse functionality,
- Enable mobile connection,
- Provide Public Portal access,
- Enhance Pandemic response and mass vaccination efforts, including tier group screening,
- Provide Clinical Decision Support (CDSi).
(2) Letter of Intent must be submitted no later than October 30, 2020.
(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 20, 2020.

Onshore (USA organization Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
