[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide substance use disorder treatment services to the government authority located in Pierre, SD.
• Individuals with substance use disorder at times may require clinically-managed residential detoxification services in order to safely manage imminent withdrawal symptoms.
- During this time, the treatment provider must provide services including an initial assessment of treatment needs, counseling services, and discharge planning to address the substance use disorder.
- Services are delivered to individuals experiencing signs and symptoms of withdrawal manageable at this level of care or those with evidence that withdrawal is imminent based on history of substance intake, previous withdrawal history, present symptoms, physical conditions, or emotional, behavioral or cognitive condition.
• Intensive methamphetamine treatment (IMT) programs offer long-term, evidence-based programming to individuals ages 18 and older with severe methamphetamine use disorder.
- The Division of Behavioral Health utilized ongoing technical assistance and training from expert technical consultants in conjunction with agency to identify and implement treatment modalities indicated by research as best practices in the area of methamphetamine treatment services and most likely to impact long-term recovery.
- IMT services provide extended treatment to allow for recovery of cognitive capacity, and may include residential services, outpatient treatment and care coordination to support long-term recovery.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than April 20, 2020.
