[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide marketing campaigns services
- To strengthen the public awareness and education related to influenza vaccination, childhood vaccination, American indian vaccination, and west Nile prevention, the office of disease prevention services is soliciting bids for media campaigns that will build off the past success of the flu bug, childhood vaccination, protect your circle, and west Nile media campaigns,
- The successful applicant will be responsible for producing an evidence-based, coordinated, prevention and awareness campaign at the state and local level, this includes: coordinating all office disease prevention services advertising purchases; developing ads and other media campaign elements, as directed by office of disease prevention services and other department of health staff,
- Agency has breadth of experience in creating effective, high impact advertising,
- Agency has extensive media buying experience in South Dakota to leverage limited media dollars,
- Agency has interactive capabilities to strategically use digital and social media,
- Agency’s account service and planning provide outstanding client service, from strategic planning and counsel to project management,
- Agency must demonstrate the ability to integrate the client’s expertise in public health with the agency’s expertise in marketing and communications,
- Agency has experience in social marketing, work that changes attitudes and opinions on health or related topics,
- Increase awareness that opioids can be addictive and dangerous
- Increase the number of individuals who avoid using opioids non-medically (recreationally) or choose options other than opioids for safe and effective pain management
- Promote resources for prevention treatment and recovery,
- A variety of messages over time,
- Multiple media channels to maximize reach and frequency of the campaigns,
- Impactful creative with high quality production to break through the clutter,
- An integrated approach, with all communications efforts, including paid advertising, earned media, digital and social media, and community outreach, working together to change social norms,
- Strategic innovation, using fresh and new ideas that support our mission,
- Experience from other sources, using proven ads and strategies from others states or federal organizations to maximize budgets.
(2) The letter of intent must be submitted no later than June 26, 2019.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
