(1) Vendor needs to provide accounting services to the government authority located in Howes, SD. – Review and prepare schedule and prepare any adjusting entries for the fixed assets;– Analyze and reconcile all revenue by fund and prepare any adjusting entries;– Analyze all expenditures by fund and prepare any adjusting entries;– Analyze and reconcile all bank statements with corresponding fund accounts;– Analyze and adjust bank reconciliations for all cash accounts and investments and prepare any adjusting entries;– Analyze and prepare any adjusting entries for vendor accounts payables, accounts receivables, and the general ledger;– Analyze and prepare all financial statements used by management;– Calculate and prepare the schedule of Federal Funds expenditure reports;– Prepare and complete any other required Federal and tax forms.– Other Special Projects as assigned which may include analyzing and preparing advisement on accounting for Department of Treasury Funds allocated to and administered.– Provide recommendations and advisement on internal controls and fund management to Administration.– Provide services associated with audits for all accounts and to work with auditors in this regard.– Provide Ongoing Bookkeeping assistance and consulting as required.– Implement a work plan to utilize our existing staff to perform as many tasks as possible.– Assist with providing additional training and assistance for staff, if necessary, including the computer operations of software as well as grant compliance and accounting functions.– Assistance with other projects as requested by management.– Providing services, as needed, to assist with maintaining the integrity of current internal control system.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
